New clients

A first visit starts with a conversation

Tell your stylist what you want and what your hair has been through, and they will plan the visit with you.

Any of us is happy to see a new client. Color, braids and extensions begin with a consultation, and for a cut your stylist will ask a few questions before the scissors come out.

Worth telling us

  • Hair history: color, relaxers, smoothing treatments, henna

  • Photos of looks you like and don't

  • Any reaction you have had to a hair product

Your first visit

Whichever stylist you choose, a first visit goes the same way.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Book your visit

Choose a stylist and a service on the booking page. Color, braids and extensions begin with a consultation, and long services take a deposit that goes toward the service.

  2. 02

    Step 2: What to bring

Photos of hair you like and hair you don't, a note of what has been on your hair, and for braids any hair you want to use.

    • Photos of looks you like

    • Your hair history

    • Braiding hair, if you bring it

  3. 03

    Step 3: When you arrive

Come to the second floor of 118 East Superior Street, five minutes early. Street parking and the ramp across the road are a short walk. Tell the front desk who you are seeing.

  4. 04

    Step 4: What to expect

Your stylist looks at your hair, asks what you want and says what is possible and how long it will take before they pick up a tool.

  5. 05

    Step 5: Afterward

Your stylist tells you what to use at home and how soon to come back, and you can rebook at the desk.
